As well I am inspired by true “owners,” those people who can own up to their responsibilities, show self-control, helpfulness, organization, strong intellect, social skills, and who are willing to share their achievements with others.

The issues that matter to me most are good governance, youth, and information technology given that they have had an immense impact on poverty eradication initiatives all over the world. I have been involved in these issues first-hand by standing up and challenging my community and sensitizing other youth to these issues in hopes that they in turn will be activated to change. An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all.
